Logan Woods:
We had our organizational meeting on Oct. 7. Welcome back to all our old members, and we have one new member. Our club features Outdoors and Creative Options/Leadership this year.
We held elections with the following results: Executive – President Shelby Patten, Vice-President Erin Woods, Treasurer Sarah Magnuson, Secretary Leah Reid, Club Reporter Logan Woods and Historians Reid and Lane Magnuson. We have seven executive members at this time.
Our club will holds its welcome back supper on Nov. 2 at the Alder Flats Hall. We will be participating in Outdoors with a hayride too. This will be a family event.
We will also be involved in the Drive Away Hunger Campaign, sponsored by Farm Credit. Much appreciation to everyone who helps our members out on this event.
We have two new members who are going to the Senior Member’s Conference in December.
Project reports: Outdoors went canoeing at the Battle Lake 4H Centre on September 21. It was fun. Outdoors will also be at Twin Lakes with the Lacombe Outdoor Club to do geo caching in October.
Shelby is doing dance and leadership for her project.
