Fifteen members of the Horticulture Group enjoyed a lively meeting on March 15. The regular monthly meetings are held at the Drop-in at 10am on the third Wednesday of each month. This group is an extension of the Rimbey Agriculture Society.
At the meeting the coffee was on and a delicious cake was provided by Barb Patey. Business included setting dates for the Rose and Lilly Show, Rhubarb Day, and the Bench Show in August.
Many local people are familiar with the Show Book that is distributed (free) every year. And every year there are changes to it. If anyone has a recommendation that they would like to share, phone Maryanne (785-71350) or Gail (843-2539) or attend the next meeting on April 15.
All members were asked to bring their recommendations for the floor plan for the bench show to the next meeting.
