The staff at Rimbey Elementary School literally stepped up to the challenge when they were each given a pedometer. February is “Heart Smart” month and we used the pedometer to count our steps.
Firstly, we calculated the average amount of staff steps in a week, which was 66 845, to encourage other Wolf Creek School Division school staffs to “Beat it.”
A healthy goal per person each day is 10,000 steps.
