Sylvan Lake RCMP Detachment Bentley activity – May 1 to May 7

Thursday, May 1 - 10:55 p.m. - A 911 call was received of a vehicle driving erratically on Highway 12, near Bentley. A patrol was made to the area but members were not able to locate the vehicle. The registered owner was contacted and a verbal warning was issued about driving habits.

Friday, May 2 – 9:45 p.m. – Members were dispatched to a complaint of a large party in Benalto. Members made a patrol and spoke to the owner of the residence. The subject was issued a verbal warning that a charge would be laid if another complaint was received.

Saturday, May 3 – 3:03 a.m. – A complaint of quads racing up and down 50th Street in Bentley was dispatched. A patrol was made and quads not located. The complainant was unable to identify the suspects. No further complaints were received.

Sunday, May 4 – 7:53 p.m. – A complaint was received of a vehicle fish-tailing down 52nd Avenue in Bentley. The caller advised he was almost hit by the suspect vehicle. Patrols were made in the area and no vehicle was located.

Tuesday, May 6 – 6 p.m.- a complaint of a motor vehicle accident involving a deer was received. The incident happened on Highway 20 near Bentley. There were no injuries sustained and the report was completed.
