The fourth annual Rimbey Fish and Game Youth Fish Derby was held on June 24 at Open Creek Dam.
There were 64 youth ranging in ages from three to15 who were fishing.
A total of 65 fish were caught including rainbow trout and suckers.
The winners of the derby were Katie Berger and Andrew Elines.
Parents, grandparents, volunteers and participants enjoyed a few hours at Open Creek. As well as fishing there was a barbecue sponsored by Secure Energy Services for everyone to enjoy. The participants were all treated to goodie bags and an array of prizes from various generous sponsors.
