Liberty Hall Dinner Theatre has been preparing for their upcoming performance called Par for the Corpse by Craig Sodaro.
The mystery-comedy, which features 13 cast members, takes place at an exclusive golf resort. When one of the characters Joy Draper of dating service Harmonosity takes a crew of singles to the resort and one of her clients turns up dead, a mystery then unfolds. Luckily Draper’s assistant studies criminology at the local college, but the question is whether or not there could be more than one murderer on the green.
This year, Carrie Kitchen will be directing the performance, which marks Liberty Hall’s 28th year putting them on.
It can take 20 to 40 volunteers per night to put the shows on including the cast.
There are seven performances, with one night already being bought out, that people can choose from. All include dinner and the show.
The matinee performance takes place Feb. 5, with doors opening at 11:30 a.m. Food will be at 12:30 p.m. and the performance would begin at 2:00 p.m. Evening performances take place Feb. 10, 11, 17, 18, 24 and 25, with doors opening at 5:30 p.m. Dinner would be served at 6:30 p.m., with performances taking place at 8:00 p.m.
