The Bentley United Church is going up for sale, but church services will continue in an alternate location.
A church board member who asked not to be identified said the church building and property is to be sold.
“It’s a beautiful, traditional church, but it’s too expensive to maintain,” the board member said, noting congregations are sometimes down to only 10 people in the summer.
The United Church in Bentley has been without a regular minister for some time, however, a new minister is to come on board in September.
