Cst. Julie Letal, from the Rimbey RCMP reported that in the past few days The RCMP in Rimbey has received multiple reports of a paving company that offers paving of driveways in the area for reasonable prices. Once the work is done the price of the paving goes up to an unreasonable amount. When the customer is unable to pay the contractor will come down in price, but does get quite aggressive. This is borderline fraud, said Cst. Letal.
“As a reminder, if you are accepting any work do your research and get any quotes in writing,” she added.
