Mothers’ Day market was held at Paskapoo Park on May12. The first 100
ladies received a free potted plant from the Market. The market has
some new vendors along with the wonderful vendors from last year. New
this year is Joanne Marshall who has taken over the concession and
will be providing home cooked breakfasts . Also new is the Asian
cuisine on wheels.
The Market will be holding a 1st Annual Fathers’ Day on Sunday, June
17th. This will be a fundraiser for the Farmers’ Market. Much is
promised for this event including Local Beer and Bites, Wing Wars,
Wine Tasting, Live Music and a Kids’ Zone. Much of this will be
supplied by local restaurants.
