Mr. Carl A. Bask of Rimbey, Alberta passed away peacefully at the Rimbey Hospital and Care Centre, Rimbey on Friday, April 13, 2012 at the age of 81 years.Carl will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by his beloved wife, Betty; and three sons, Gary (Lorraine) Wester of Red Deer; Greg (Zeny) Wester of Edmonton; and Gord Wester (Patti Thibeault) of Medicine Hat; as well as six grandchildren: Chad, Daniel, Kim, Bradley, Stephen, and Kelly; and two great grandchildren: Emma Wester and Olivia Wester. He will also be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by his brother, Emil (Dale) Bask of Fairview, Alberta; and two sisters, Betsy (Archie) Hayes of Fairview; and Katie McDaid of Eaglesham, Alberta; in addition to numerous nieces and nephews. Carl was predeceased by his parents, Ada and Karl; and two brothers, Freddy and Eric. With respect for Carl's wishes, no formal funeral service will be held. A Private Family Graveside Service was held at the West Haven Cemetery, Rimbey on Wednesday, April 18, 2012 at 12:00 p.m. with the Reverend Allen Iddings officiating.
