MORAVEC
Mr. David Richard "Dave" Moravec of Winfield, Alberta passed away suddenly and tragically on Saturday, November 5, 2011 at the age of 66 years. He was born in Wetaskiwin, Alberta on February 9, 1945.
Dave will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by his beloved wife of 29 years, Clara; and his children: Terry Moravec of Edmonton; Sherry L'Hirondelle of Leduc; Trevor (Julie) Moravec of Abbotsford, B.C.; Jack (Amy) Finch of Delta, B.C.; and Carmen (Matt) Siems of Bellevue, Washington; as well as his grandchildren: Brent, Colin, Rebecca, Michael, Morgan, Sukhi, Jana, and Raena; and one great granddaughter, Nayla. He will also be lovingly remembered by four brothers, Danny (Sharon) Moravec of Calgary; Lloyd (Nancy) Moravec of Innisfail; Steve (Heather) Moravec of Edmonton; and Wes Moravec also of Edmonton; and three sisters, Rose (Bob) Authenac of Big Valley; Cheryl (Wayne) Jahnsen of Sherwood Park; and Bonnie (Darrell) Wiersma of Blackfalds; in addition to numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and many close friends. Dave was predeceased by his parents, Ed and Eva Moravec.
A Public Memorial Service in Celebration of Dave's Life was held at the Winfield Community Hall, Winfield on Saturday, November 12, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. with the Reverend James Strachan officiating. Cremation took place at Hainstock's Funeral Home and Crematorium, Edmonton.
