BUSHEY
David Wilfred Bushey of Bluffton, Alberta passed away at the Rimbey Hospital and Care Centre on Sunday, June 7, 2015 at the age of 63 years.
David will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by his best friend and companion, Martha Verhoek; his two daughters: Kerri (Gerrit) Walker of Bluffton; and Darla (Barry) Varty of Red Deer; five cherished grandchildren: Braydon, Alison, Caitlyn, Kassaundra, and Austin; as well as Martha's children: Kim, Jason, Matthew and their families. He will also be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by his four sisters: Winnie (Gene) Norstrom of Rimbey; Melody (Bob) Hansen of Bluffton; Myla (Brian) Hansen of Bluffton; and Michelle (Garry) Zelasek of Lacombe; in addition to numerous nieces and nephews, other family members, and many friends. David was predeceased by his parents, Amy and Wilfred; and his sister, Sharon.
A Public Funeral Service in Celebration of David's Life was held at the Zion Lutheran Church, Rimbey on Thursday, June 11, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Mark Schultz officiating. Interment followed in the Iola Fairview Cemetery, Bluffton.
