Gordon McFadyen died peacefully at home at the age of 57 after a brief illness. He is lovingly remembered and greatly missed by his beloved wife, Kim, his children Kevin (Danielle) and Shauna (Ken), Kim's children Katrina (Vince) and Kerry, grandchildren Catherine, Amber, and William, siblings Donna (Rob), Barb (Ron), Brian (Doris), and Sheri (Rod), his nieces and nephews, and so many amazing friends. Gordon will be remembered for the way he helped people transform their lives through his home renovation business, Interior Transformations, dedication to his church family and providing pastoral care at the U of A hospital. He was a passionate adventurer -- backpacker, dancer, music lover, wine connoisseur, and life-long learner, especially at Naramata Centre of the United Church. He will be remembered for his gracious hospitality and for being a thoughtful, compassionate listener. A celebration of Gordon's life was held Wednesday, April 15, 2015, at Southminster-Steinhauer United Church.
