INGRAM

Harold (Harry) William

(B: April 13, 1955)

Harry passed away suddenly in Costa Rica on February 9, 2012 at the age of 56, with his beloved wife and friend Marie by his side. Harry was predeceased by his father and friend Harold (Morris) Ingram and beloved friend and pet Tucker. Left to treasure his memory are his dear mother Anne, wife and soulmate Marie; his sweet daughters Angela (his pride and joy), and Maxine (Chris Fisher) and granddaughters Dylan and Makayla, a great joy to Papa; brothers and friends, Walter (Heather) and Norm (Karen); Mother in-law Jean Stewart (Walter Fidler); Brother in-law George Stewart (Susana); Sister in-law Deborah Finestone (Peter); along with nieces and nephews, numerous extended family and friends. Harry's 31-year career began in 1976 at RCMP training Depot in Regina followed by numerous postings; Banff, Assumption, Calgary Drug Section, Fort McMurray, Sylvan Lake, Sub-Division General Investigation Section, Red Deer City Detachment, and Sylvan Lake Detachment where he retired from a long, fulfilling, and successful career. In each of Harry's postings he left lasting and meaningful relationships; and dedicated his best efforts to the people and communities he served. During retirement years, Harry enjoyed the loves of his life which included quality time with family and friends in special places. He loved nature, the outdoors and spectacular beauty of all kinds. Harry was a passionate trapper, hunter, fisherman, and outdoorsman. Harry hunted and fished with his dear dad, brothers, and friends much of the time at his trapline cabin on the Firebag River. As a Bear Guide he provided an experience of a lifetime to many and great friendships evolved. Harry loved travel and adventure and when family and friends were involved, it magnified his pleasure. Amongst Harry's passions and love were joys on the ball field, golf course, camping, boating, hiking, and experiencing the breathtaking beauty of nature. Harry was always a pilar of strength in supporting friends and family. Most notably he was there to support Marie and family with her recovery and triumph over breast cancer. In recent months Harry had found great pleasure and pride in his physical strength and well being, walking, and hiking and by all appearances turning back the clock. Harry was proud of his family and friends and their accomplishments and grateful to have them in his life. We are honoured in his pride of us. He loved to live and he loved life. His most enduring expression was "Where would you rather be?"

Sadly missed but forever in our hearts.
