MONTALBETTI
Joe E. Montalbetti of Rimbey, Alberta passed away at the Rimbey Hospital and Care Centre on Thursday, December 22, 2016 at the age of 86 years.
Joe will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by his beloved wife of 59 years, Doreen; his son, David Montalbetti (Kathy Ramsey) of Salt Spring Island, B.C.; and his daughter, Susan Montalbetti of Calgary; in addition to five cherished grandchildren: Che, Isaac, Luke, Sam, and Taylor. He will also be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by his brother, Charlie Montalbetti of Chilliwack, B.C.; and his sister, Doris Rankin of Vancouver, B.C.; as well as numerous nieces and nephews, other relatives, and many close friends. Joe was predeceased by his parents, Ed and Leola; one brother, Pat; and one sister, Joyce Knutson.
A Funeral Service Celebration of Joe's Life was held at St. Margaret's Catholic Church, Rimbey on Thursday, December 29, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. with the Reverend Father Les Drewicki officiating. Cremation took place at the Central Alberta Crematorium, Red Deer. If friends desire, memorial tributes in Joe's Memory may be made directly to the charity of one's choice.
