1935 - 2015
It is with great sadness that the family of John W. Chaney announce his sudden passing.
On May 8, 2015 John W. Chaney passed away, at the age of 80 years old at Rimbey Hospital, Rimbey Alberta. John was born April 20, 1935 in Metiskow. He was predeceased by his wife Doris in August 2007.
He will forever be remembered by his family; Jack Chaney and his wife Deb Chaney, Richard Chaney, Hans Chaney, Brenda Gould Cryer, Kim Chaney and his wife Karen Gurnett, and his numerious nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren, as well as many other relatives and friends.
Memorial service will take place Saturday, May 23, 2015 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Royal Canadian Legion in Rimbey, Alberta.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cross Cancer Institute of Alberta.
