October 21 1976 – June 4, 2008

Kim passed away suddenly in Edmonton, Alberta at the age of 31 years old. Kim was born to Alberta and Doug Kitchen in Rimbey, AB. Kim was a happy child and easy going, being the eldest, she looked after her 2 sisters and brother. Kim graduated from Ponoka Composite High School in 1994. She met her soul mate Larry, they were married in 2001. They lived in Delia, AB and settled in Silver Valley, AB where they farmed together. Kim enjoyed spending time with her family especially her nieces and nephews. She liked quading, camping and had a strong love for animals.

Kim will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by her husband, Larry of 7 years and infant son Justice, both of Silver Valley, AB. Mom, Alberta Kitchen and Rod Sawley, Siblings; Charmaine Kitchen (Russell Bjornson), Cal (Carrie) Kitchen, all of Rimbey, AB, Crystal Kitchen of Spirit River, AB. Father Doug Kitchen of Kelowna, B.C. Larry’s parents Spence & Judy Molyneux of Silver Valley, AB, Brother-in-Law, Shad (Neota) Molyneux of Bedford, NS and Sister-in-Law, Sharla (Dale) Morrison of Grande Prairie, AB. Nieces and nephews: Kaleb Kitchen, Madison, Ryland & Grace Kitchen, Kai & Zoe Gander, Mathew, Ashlea, Samantha & Brock Molyneux, Davina Morrison and many aunts, uncles, and cousins, and friend Dennis Gander.

Kim was predeceased by her Grandma Inez Curtis, Grandpa Calvert & Grandma Annabelle Kitchen, Great Uncle Winston Curtis, Uncle Kelly Pittman and Cousin Kevin Curtis.

A memorial service in celebration of Kim’s life was held Tuesday June 10, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. in the Savannah Rec Plex. Funeral was held on Thursday June 12, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. in the Hoadley Hall, burial followed in the Hoadley Cemetery.
