Lloyd Allan Stephenson

It is with sadness and sorrow that we announce the passing of Lloyd Stephenson, aged 70 years, beloved husband of Penny Stephenson of Rimbey, Alberta. Lloyd will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 49 years, Penny, and their three children: Greg [Lisa], daughters Rylee and Jena; Melinda and son Jasper; and Jeff [Sara], and their children, Oakley, Quinn and Ari. Lloyd also leaves his brother Alden [Ann] of Rimbey. Lloyd was predeceased by his father Willie and his mother Ruby.
Lloyd was born and raised in the Blackfalds area, and after living in Calgary for many years, returned to the original Stephenson farm in 1982, on which he ran a cow/calf operation until 2004. In retirement, Lloyd and Penny built a house on an acreage near Rimbey.
Funeral services were held on Tuesday, October 28, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at Blackfalds United Church, Blackfalds, Alberta. If family or friends so desire, donations may be made in Lloyd's memory to Prostate Cancer Canada https://prostatecancercanada.donorportal.ca
