MISNER

Marvin Merle Misner (Pops) of Leedale, AB passed away Jan 26, 2015 at the age of 66 years old at the Rimbey Hospital & Care Centre.
He was born in Rimbey and raised in the Last West area. In 1976 he moved with his family Trudy, Lyle and Jackie to Leedale. He was an active member of the community and enjoyed socializing with friends, neighbors and co-workers.
Marvin spent 44 years in the bridge construction industry working throughout Alberta. One of his most memorable was the Siffleur Falls suspension bridge. Marvin was a master bridge builder and received many awards including the Minister's Award of Excellence.
He enjoyed spending time with his family. His grandchildren Morgan, Tory and Carter were his pride and joy.
He is lovingly remembered by his wife Trudy, son Lyle, daughter Jackie, her husband Brad and their three children Morgan, Tory and Carter. He is also survived by his two brothers, Ron (Delores) and Dave (Patti), numerous nieces and nephews, cousins and in-laws.
He was predeceased by his mother Edna, his father Victor, his sister Elaine and his brothers Calvin and Bob.
A Celebration of Life for Marvin will be held at the Leedale Community Hall on Monday Feb 2, 2015 at 2:00. A private burial will be held at the Bradshaw Cemetery.
