Reverend Elmer Robert "Bud" McLEAN

It is with great sadness that we celebrate the life of the Reverend Elmer Robert "Bud" McLean, beloved husband, father, and grandfather who passed away Wednesday, February 26, 2014 at the heavenly age of 82 years at the Rimbey Hospital Care Centre. Bud will be forever remembered by his loving wife Yvonne of 13 and a half years, brother Lesley (Joy) of Delta, BC an sons Calvin of Kitscoty, Alberta, and children Shaun, Caleb and Corrinn: Cameron (Yvonne) from Airdrie, Alberta, children Hailey and Lachlan. He will also be remembered by his step-children Brian (Danita) Michalsky of Caroline, Alberta, Brock (Stacey) and Meghann; Antoinette Fleischhacker (Eric) Spruce View, AB., Stefani (Ryan) Tenille and Beau; Alison Mannix (Dallas) of Leedale, AB., Justin, Courtney and Wyatt, and Barrie Michalsky (Shauna) Caroline, AB., Siera (Leonard) Taylor (Axel) and Cole. Bud often commented about his extended family, how well they had accepted him in sickness and in health. Bud was predeceased by his first wife, Doris Mae Carruthers and son Craig; brothers, Donald, Lorne, Glen, Gordon, Leslie, Elwood; and sister, Hazel Grace. A Celebration of Life was held from the Withrow Gospel Mission Church on Tuesday March 4, 2014 at 2:00 pm with Pastor Brian Allan officiating. Interment took place in the Leslieville Cemetery.
