Dear Editor,
The gas stations in Rimbey should be ashamed of themselves. I was in Rocky Mountain House on Jan. 9. Gas was 82.9 cents a litre in that community. In Rimbey last week it was 90.9 and 91.9 cents a litre at some stations. At the Co-op it was 84.9 cents a litre.
On Sunday, Jan. 10, Bretton Esso came down to 89.9 cents a litre. A person doesn’t have to be smart to realize RockyMountain House is a lot further to haul gas. With the price of a barrel of oil which is about thirty one to thirty two dollars abarrel, a litre of gas should be 50 cents or less a litre.
Right!
