Dear Editor:
I had the misfortune recently of having a flat tire halfway between Rimbey and Ponoka.
Once my spare doughnut tire was put on, I took my flat to Western Tire in Rimbey to be repaired.
Unfortunately, it was irreparable.
The fellows at Western Tire were great. They made numerous phone calls to try to find me a new tire (my tires are an uncommon model), stored my car inside overnight, installed a tire I borrowed and had brought down from Fort Saskatchewan the next day, stowed my spare in the awkward basket under my car, and then wished me Merry Christmas — no charge.
Thanks again to the wonderful crew at Western Tire.
