Emma Jean Ostrikoff from Bentley competed in the National Bowling competition in Newfoundland recently.
Despite a bout with the flu en route and flight delays she did well, bowling an average of 170 in two days and coming in fourth.
She was proud to carry the banner in for the Alberta team at the closing ceremonies.
Prince Edward Island won gold in the tourney, Manitoba took silver and Ontario won bronze.
