Again Bentley club member's hard work and the generous support from sponsors/donors gave participating teams more than their money's worth in the March 20-22 Bentley Town & Country Bonspiel.

There was food each day with suppers Thursday and Friday donated by Urs and Elisabeth Mueller, Brink Family Farms and Attema Farms. A banquet was served Saturday night at the rink by Lora Walker after the finals of the three events had been played.

Winning the ‘A’ event was the Joey Gustavson rink from Eckville/Rocky Mountain House with third Tami Brand, second Dave Brand and lead Vicky Westlund who defeated the local Walter Lloyd team in five ends.

The ‘B’ event winner was the Rainy Creek Kyle Brink team with third Nicole Hunter, second Harvey Brink and lead Kyle Rose who defeated the local Ralph Scarlett foursome after six ends.

Club member Krista Turner with third Cassie Hogg, second Gerald Peterson, and lead Cindy Irwin won the ‘C’ event by defeating the local Urs Mueller bunch 6-5 without having to throw her last rock in the eighth end.

There were door prizes galore for curlers. Prizes were cash paid after each win.
