The new 1/8 mile track at Central Alberta Race track attracted a good crowd at the Drag Shoot Out held July 12 and 13. There was lots of speed and rubber burning at the track during the event.
One driver was taken to hospital by emergency crews with undetermined injuries to his hand after his car hit the water filled barricades and then rolled.
