Planning is in full swing for the Canalta Peewee A Renegades as they prepare to host the Peewee C Provincial Championships in March.

The parent committee’s next event is a pub night on Friday, January 29 at the Vault. Please come out and support the fundraiser for the March 10-13th Peewee C Provincials. The fun filled night will include music, dancing, games, a progressive 50/50, silent auction, and live auction.

The committee also continues to organize volunteers for the Provincials weekend. A volunteer sign up sheet can be found at the concession at the arena. Donations to the event are greatly appreciated. The committee would love to advertise for local businesses interested in donating. Anyone wishing to sponsor, advertise, or volunteer can contact the host committee at peeweecprovincials2016@gmail.com.

The Rimbey Coop Novice Renegades had a successful weekend at the Thorsby Thunder Cup Novice Tournament on January 16-17. Many family members and friends came out to cheer them on in the “A” final against the Pennwest Whitecourt Wolverines. The Coop Renegades won the final with a score of 9-3.
