The Winfield & District 4-H Beef Club had their monthly meeting on February 9.
Our recent 4-H events included a feedlot tour on January 30 at the Lazy E Bar ranch east of Bashaw with Jim Bleakley.
Our public speaking competition was held on February 1 at the Alder Flats hall with Jacob Parker and Kayla Leeder as this year’s senior winners. Intermediate winners were Cole Schwengler and Miranda Wirch.
We also have an upcoming winter event-Sledding at the Leeder’s farm on March 15.
There was a pancake supper on the February 17 at Winfield hall where the 4-H members worked at, bussing tables as a community service.
