Crestomere 4-H Multi Club had its organizational meeting recently at Crestomere School. General leader is Beatrix Stamm and president is Morena Stamm.

We have having five projects this year: cooking with Beatrix Stamm, woodworking with Damian Stamm, sewing with Beatrix Stamm, pets with Kathy McTaggart and small engines with Don Leighton.

Cooking classes making carrot cakes, measuring lessons and cooking examples of mac and cheese. Members are looking forward to making a gingerbread house. Woodworking is making square flowerpots and birdhouses. Sewing is working on an infinity dress. Pets working on grooming feeding properly and they have an assortment of pets, dogs and turtles. The small engines group has a quad as a group project and some smaller engines for the beginners to work on. By the end of the year the quad is to be running and may be up for sale on Kijjiji to the best offer.

We all look forward to a year of special fun days, project days and public speaking. Thank you to everyone who supported our bottle drives and Mom’s Pantry sales.

We wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a great New Year.
