The Winfield Gait Riders had a very fun time at our Christmas ride after our regular monthly English Ride in January. We had a delicious potluck lunch and an entertaining gift exchange. Then we all got on our horses and had a game of soccer. It was a good experience for both horse and rider.

We had our Public Speaking Day Feb 9. The following are the placing for our club. Juniors 1st place: Neil Glenn, Intermediate 1st place: Meghann Smawley, second place went to Alison Walker. Seniors 1st place: Ashlyn Frandsen and second place went to Geneva Rodin. Congratulations to all the members for great speeches.

Thank you to everyone that purchased quilt raffle tickets. The winner for the Quilt Raffle was Susan Scullion from Rimbey and the second prize for a great gift basket was Dan Doran.
