This 4-H year is off to a great start. We have started with riding already, enjoying our lessons among with 13 members. We have two western rides every month: one long ride and one short ride.

The club has got off with a great fundraiser, collecting 2,000 tires for our tire drive to put toward club activities. We give a big thanks to those who donated tires. The Winfield Gait Riders won the Community Cares Fortis contest.

Our club is mainly based on western, we also do English as well, including jumping.

We had our elections for the club done by the beginning of October. Club leader is Jessica Patten, co-leaders are Connie Kluczny and Ruth Macaborski, president is Megan Tanasiuk; vice-president is Mikayla Macaborski; treasurer is Riley Mallo, secretary is Brittany Ellis; historians are Jennifer Thompson and Megan and Robyn Tanasiuk.

We are planning a Christmas party where we will play many games with our horses, have a group lunch and continue bonding with our favourite four-legged friends before we get into shows in the spring.
