The injuries from a semi versus crossover SUV Saturday morning were minor considering somewhat wintry road conditions on Highway 2. Emergency crews, including EMS, the Ponoka Integrated Traffic Unit and the Ponoka County East District Fire Department were called to the scene. RCMP have arrested and charged a 19-year-old Ponoka man with several alleged property crimes. A search of a Ponoka property Sept. 12 recovered several items including ammunition and firearms, plus a snowmobile and trailer.                                RCMP photo
