Thanks to some hard work on the part of the Rimbey 4-H Club, the new hospital was one of three local organizations to receive some financial boosts. As part of the 2nd annual Hooves and horns, members of the 4-H club were asked to clean up the Community Centre’s arena by the event’s organizers and in return, the club was to be the benefactors. Instead, the club opted to donate $1,000 to the hospital’s Long Term Care Area III. In addition, the local FCSS was presented with $1,000 while the Rimbey Boxing Club received $750. Benefactors for next year’s event will include the Rimbey’s fire and ambulance services.
