Blindman Valley 4-H Beef Club
Our club held its 4-H public speaking at the Blindman Valley Ag Centre in Bentley. This was for our club only and everyone did great.
Peter Mueller placed first and Falon Vert placed second for the senior members and qualified for zones. Since Peter could not make it to zones, I, Cassandra Ruud, represented him. Intermediate members Thomas Mueller and Montana Millar placed first and second. They both did very well and moved on to zones. Junior members Qin Millar and Gracie Whitfield placed first and second.
Congratulations to Montana and Thomas for moving on to the district level. Coby Brink and Carla McCann were our judges for the junior members; intermediate judges were Lee Varty and Clayton Szakacs; and the judges for the senior members were Jason Hazlett and Kreg Colegrave.
On March 14, we held our Mini Achievement Day. After school we went around to all the member’s houses and took pictures of their project.
