Coming off a year’s worth of success following their critically-acclaimed sophomore release Semi Truck (Rage Records), produced by Jon Drew (Arkells, Tokyo Police Club,), S&S is packing up their gear and venturing to the far corners of Canada. With an expected 40-date tour, lots of clicks on the odometer, and a truckload of new songs to unleash, their original brand of rock n’ roll is sure make a lasting impression on show-goers. Their new single ‘Semi Truck’ was serviced to national radio stations on September 26.

Formed in 2006, S&S consists of sisters Marie-Eve (Merv) on vocals/keys and Véronique (Vern) Mallet on guitar/vocals, backed by John “El Conquistador” Lenherr on drums and Chris Page-Manson on bass.

Their music draws from influences such as Metric, Foo Fighters, and Gossip, but ultimately S&S’s attitude-laden ‘pelvic’ rock speaks for itself. An unwavering DIY ethic, untamed stage presence and sound, and ‘rock-or-die’ attitude have garnered the attention and fandom of thousands across the country. “There’s no way we’ll be coming back from this tour without lots of good stories to tell,” says Vern.
