Bentley public works was busy over the holiday break preparing the new Bentley ice surface for skaters.
Marc Fortais, Chief Administrative Officer said that he and council hope residents will get out and enjoy the new ice surface, which will be located behind the arena in Bentley, next to ball diamond#1.
Fortais said that lights have also been repaired and will be on in the evenings to provide additional safety for skaters.
Last year Bentley council heard from residents regarding the desire to have a skating surface in the community.
