Church pitches in

.

Submitted

Twenty members of the Nazarene Church went out in groups to take part in collecting garbage around Rimbey. It was part of Pitch In Canada’s program to clean up communities around the country.

Through this program, volunteers and groups such as schools, service groups, youth and other community organizations, volunteer to clean up the garbage around their communities.

This year the volunteers from the Nazarene Church went out into the community and picked up garbage around town. They covered a large amount of town and ended up with a full dumpster and then some. An abandoned yard was cleaned up and was a huge clean up project in itself.

The morning ended with a lunch for the volunteers and some photos of the conquest. People had a great time volunteering and reaching out to the community.
