President Doreen Glanfield invites everyone to take part in the events planned for the week of June 7 to 9 at the Rimbey Drop-In Centre. We’d like to see young, old and everyone in between come and celebrate.
All events during the week are free to everyone. We will have a donation jar out and any and all contributions will be given to the new swimming pool fund. Our main intention is to have one and all come out and join us.
There will be numerous displays and presentations. Learn about being ready for an emergency, Alberta and Canadian Health Services, a defibrillator demonstration, find out what medications not to take and more.
A complimentary lunch will be served at noon and coffee with strawberry and cake at the afternoon’s finish.
Door prizes for the afternoon are donated by Rimbey Value Drug Mart.
Bring out a shut-in or a buddy and visit our Drop-In, see what we have to offer. Our basement games room will be open and ready for your enjoyment. We will have pool, darts and shuffleboard, card games and more.
We also will be demonstrating our indoor carpet bowling. Those that wish may use the upstairs for card games as well.
