The Ponoka District held their multi-species judging at the Lantin Ranch just outside of Rimbey on Jan. 31.

It was an amazing turn out with 43 members attending. The weather permitted and the event ran smoothly.

We judged chickens, horses, gloves, and photos. We also had a memory station and a station where we identified the parts of the sheep, the cow, and the horse.

A huge thank you to all of our judges, volunteers, and organisers. This event would not be possible without them. It was refreshing to see some friendly faces and meet new faces after a couple years apart. At the end of the afternoon, we had a snack and visited while judges added up their scores. After that they announced the winners.
