Fundraiser supports Bentley School

A major fundraiser sponsored by the Bentley School Chest Society is underway in support of the school and its programs.

The society’s “Dozen Destinations Lottery” has $25,000 worth of prizes. Prizes include a trip and a secondary cash prize each month for a year. Draws will be made at the school on the third Wednesday of each month starting in March.

There is a $300 early bird cash draw on Jan.19 from eligible tickets. Ticket sales close March 1. The first official prize draw will be on March 16. Only 450 tickets were printed.

A $125 ticket gets you 12 chances to win vacations to such places as Rome, Disneyland, Las Vegas, a Caribbean cruise, Costa Rica, West Edmonton Mall, Bluewater Houseboats cruise, Victoria spa or 12 chances to win $125 cash. All tickets drawn are replaced so as to be eligible for subsequent draws.

Tickets are available at the Bentley School, the town office, Tina’s Junk Trunk store, from any Bentley School Chest Society board member or by mail.

The Bentley School Chest Society was formed last fall to be a fundraising body to help enhance programs being offered to students and families of the Bentley area. All proceeds go directly to the Bentley School in support of its fine arts, hockey, and sports academies as well as for academic materials and information.
