This year’s Terry Fox Run in Rimbey needs a hero. Every year, hundreds of communities across Canada participate in the annual Terry Fox Run, raising funds for cancer research.
The foundation is looking for an enthusiastic individual, group or organization in Rimbey to be that hero. The Terry Fox Run organizer will help continue Terry’s dream and give the people of Rimbey the chance to continue participating in the Terry Fox Run, held on Sunday, Sept. 16.
The Terry Fox Run for cancer research brings the community together to support a worthy cause that has touched the lives of many. Previous run organizers have gained experience in leading and inspiring a team while meeting and establishing long-lasting relationships with new friends in their communities. The Terry Fox provincial office will provide the run organizer with full support through training and promotional materials.
