Masonic Lodge to hold ladies night

The Kitchener Masonic Lodge’s tradition of taking their special ladies out for a night of good food and entertainment

The Kitchener Masonic Lodge’s tradition of taking their special ladies out for a night of good food and entertainment will continue again this year.

Ladies night will be held at the Rimbey Drop in Centre on April 26. Refreshments will be served at 5:30 p.m., dinner at 6:30 p.m. and entertainment will follow at 8 p.m. Entertainment is to include the well-known Rimbey Trio. Dress is semi-formal.

Earl Giebelhaus, senior warden of the Kitchener Lodge #95 said all members of the community are invited to the gala event.

“Profits from the fluid refreshment will be shared with the Rimbey Municipal Library and others will go towards aiding in the construction of the Masonic Centennial Park that will have a tie-in to the proposed community trail system.”

Giebelhaus said the Rimbey Lodge has won the higher education bursary award consistently since its inception as it has made the highest per capita contribution to the fund from Central District.

More than $32,000 has been distributed to Rimbey and district students from this fund.

Kitchener Lodge #95 was registered under The Grand Lodge of Alberta AF&.M and received its charter in 1917, sponsored by Britannia Lodge #18 in Ponoka.
