Rimbey Junior/Senior High School would like to thank the following sponsors for their awards at their recent graduation:

Keyera Corporation for their support of The Gordon Rude Memorial Award and the Valedictorian Award.

The Gordon Rude Memorial award recognizes excellence in Chemistry 30, and was presented at graduation by Gene Steeves to Morgan Vandenhoven.

The Valedictorian award is our top academic award, and was also presented by Gene Steeves to Morgan Vandenhoven.

The Jean Cranston Memorial Physical Education 30 award is sponsored by Kent and Kathleen Beagle for the girls’ top mark in physical education, and it was presented to Rylee Kramer and Hayley Shukin.

Morgan Vandenhoven took the top mark in Physics 30, which was sponsored by the Rimbey Catholic Women’s League. Morgan was also awarded the Will Hoar Math Science Award which is sponsored by Don Dewar.

Sylvia VonGunten was awarded the Casey Howard Effort and Enthusiasm Recognition Scholarship sponsored by Classic Embroidery, County Cast-A-Waste Inc. and Deanna and Bernie French.

Charlene Schultz took the top mark in Art 30, which is sponsored by Michael’s Studio.

Connor Weatherald was awarded the Dale Ewanchuk Memorial award which is sponsored by The Ewanchuk Family, Lone Wolf Heavy Duty Repairs and the staff of Rimbey Jr/Sr High.

Lastly, the top mark award in Computer Processing 30 was sponsored by Oberhammer Funeral Chapels Ltd. and was presented to Calvin Lloyd.
