A Ponoka District West Zone, 4-H Public Speaking event was held at the Winfield Community Hall on Feb 27. The Winfield and District 4-H Beef Club, Alder Flats 4-H Horse & Canine and Bluffton Beef 4-H Club were all represented through the Zone competition. Participants said it was a nerve-wracking experience after two years of not being able to compete in front of live audiences. The winners have now advanced to the District Speeches which will be held March 5, in Ponoka. (Submitted)
