The 9th annual Gospel Music in the Park is scheduled for Sunday, August 10 beginning at 2:00 p.m. in the Centennial Pavilion at Pas-Ka-Poo Park.
Should the weather be inclement, the program will move to St. Margaret’s Catholic Church. This event promises to be a great opportunity for everyone to enjoy different types and styles of gospel music including a nice variety of music lined up with the youngest performer being a preschooler.
There is no charge for the afternoon of inspirational music, however a goodwill offering will be gratefully accepted to cover the cost of the Pavilion. Any monies in excess of this will be donated to a school lunch program for the needy.
Last year after expenses, $642.32 was forwarded to the new Rimbey hospital.
The organizing committee welcomes the community to this summer event at the Park.
