Sylvan Lake RCMP Detachment – Bentley

Report May 8 to May 14 Thursday, May 8 - 11:15 a.m. - Members received a 911 call of an erratic driver on Highway 20 near Bentley. A description of the vehicle was provided but no license number was obtained. The suspect was operating the vehicle at a high rate of speed in the construction zone near Bentley. A patrol was made but the vehicle was not located.

Thursday, May 8 - 11:15 a.m. - Members received a 911 call of an erratic driver on Highway 20 near Bentley. A description of the vehicle was provided but no license number was obtained. The suspect was operating the vehicle at a high rate of speed in the construction zone near Bentley. A patrol was made but the vehicle was not located.

Friday, May 9 - 5:02 p.m. - Members were dispatched to a complaint of an ex-roommate parked outside the caller’s residence in Bentley for the past hour. Members made a patrol and, after speaking to both parties, it was determined to be a civil matter. The members stayed to keep the peace while the civil documents were being served.

Saturday, May 10 - 1:12 a.m. - A complaint was received of a disturbance outside of Big Daddy’s in Bentley. Two subjects were intoxicated and refusing to leave the area. A patrol was made and the suspects had left the area prior to police arriving. No further complaints were received.

Monday, May 12 - 12:11 p.m. - Members received a complaint of a stolen license plate off a vehicle parked at a residence in Sylvan Lake. The case is still under investigation.
