Now that the Christmas season is behind us and 2011 is off to a great start, it is a terrific time of year to learn a new skill.
You should have received the Winter/Spring Activity Guide by now, and hopefully you have found something of interest to you. This winter you can choose from general interest courses such as crocheting to employment enhancement and computer courses to short budgeting sessions.
New this year, you will see some college programs offered in Rimbey. Norquest College is offering health care aide training and Red Deer College is offering a one day “Debt Collection for Small Business” workshop.
Although, these classes have minimum enrolment requirements, if the classes are well received, there will be more of them in the future. How about an Olds College program?
