The Rimbey Victim Services Gala turned out to be a night full of fun, good music, great food and plenty of time to socialize.

Victim Services client services co-ordinator Patricia Jones said the event was wonderful.

“It went very well, tickets sales were good and the silent and live auctions both went very well and we came out ahead financially.”

Jones said the entertainment, Tracy Miller and the Little Miller band was a sure hit and Miller’s country songs had the crowd up on the dance floor.

Cst. C. Dutz was the master of ceremonies for the event and MLA Jason Nixon was also in attendance.

The RCMP dressed in red serge for the occasion and their scarlet uniforms were a bright splash of colour for the gala which was held Feb. 13.

Auctioneer Dean Edge was a crowd pleaser as was Andrew Reeleder and the bid catchers who helped make the auctions a success.
