The Winfield and District 4-H Beef Club met on Sept. 8, 2008 for their reorganization meeting. Our new President is Gerald Schenk, Vice-President is Dalton Parker, Secretary is Misty-Ann Larson, Treasurer is Chad Schenk, and Our Historians are Jacob Parker and Kelsey Beiver. Our Club Reporter is Josée Guss, Social Conveners are Chad Schenk and Chantelle Guss our District Reps are Gerald and Chad Schenk. Christine Becker and Gerald Schenk are our Beef Committee Reps. The Parliamentarian is Scott Kramer. Our Club Leader is Andy Schenk and our three Assistant Leaders are Garth Parker, Angela Larson and Colleen Anderson. This year we have 10 members. Two of them, Chantelle and Scott, are new to the club.
On Oct. 19 we met at Tim Patten’s for our weigh-in. After all the calves were weighed, the club had their monthly meeting followed by a potluck lunch. Thanks Tim for the use of your facilities.
For our fun night in Nov. we are planning on going to a movie in Drayton Valley. Bye for now.
