On Sept. 25 we had our first meeting of the year at the Winfield Recreation Centre. At this meeting we elected our officers: President Jane Maciborski, Vice President Erin McFadden, Secretary Andrea Task, Treasurer Geneva Rodin, Leader Connie Kluczny, and Co-Leaders Ruth Maciborski and Jessica Reeves.
On Oct. 16 we had our second meeting at the Winfield Recreation Centre. At this meeting we decided our fall fundraiser which was tire recycling and collecting electronics for recycling as well (held on Nov. 22). On Oct. 18 we had our first ride at Mr. and Mrs. Willows’ at 10 a.m. Most everyone showed up and we had a blast. An English ride was scheduled for Oct. 23.
Nov. 20 was our monthly meeting at our usual place where we discussed our fundraiser that was quickly approaching and scheduled our December rides. Our long ride was held on Nov. 15 again at Mr. and Mrs. Willows’ at 10 a.m. We had our tire recycling fundraiser on Nov. 22 at the Alder Flats Waste Transfer Station we did very well and it was a blast.
Our December meeting and ride were both cancelled due to bad weather.
