The Bentley Rodeo won't go ahead in 2025 due to ongoing work on the arena.
The Town of Rimbey is redoing the ice surface in the arena, which will take most of the summer.
"We didn't really have a choice of having one," said Kyle Brink, president of the Bentley Ag Society. "We are just going to postpone it a year."
Although the rodeo isn't taking place this year in Bentley, there will still be some outdoor events taking place like the pancake breakfasts, parade, a bench show in the Blindman Valley Ag Centre, a petting zoo and the Kruzin' West Show N Shine. Dates and times of the events have not been confirmed as of yet.
"I think there's still going to be a fair amount of things still," said Brink.
